Q: What is the difference between a solar light and standard electrical yard lighting?
A: Solar lighting is using the sun energy to continuously recharge the battery, no wiring, no hassel, no time or effort. Solar lighting is the most economical way to be good to the earth and conserve energy.
Q: What pieces are usually included in post solar lighting?
A: There are usually 4-5 pieces. The stem, some come with extensions, the primary solar light unit is two-three pieces, and the battery is included.
Q: How long do solar lights last?
A: 2 years is average, most solar batteries will work for 100,000 hours, depending on how much sun the battery is able to absorb. Replacing the batteries is just like any other battery replacement.
Q: Why would I want to use solar lighting?
A: There is a huge variety of solar lights, posts, animals, critters, lamp posts, wall scones, holiday items available today. Using solar lighting gives you variety and the option to easily change your lighting scheme throughout the year. No wiring, no electricity, no hassel. You can actually beautify your home and add value in a matter of minutes. You can decorate around your pool, on the deck for mood lighting or even on dark steps to create a safer environment.
Q: How do the styles of solar lights differ?
A: The lighting source (solar panel) is primarily the same but the designs are all different. As long as sunlight (day light works too) comes in contact with the panel for 4-6 hours a day, you will have soft, sublte, glowing light at dusk. There are large solar posts to little solar frogs. Today's
solar lighting has come a long way in variety, durablity and function.
Q: How are your products shipped and how long will it be before I receive my order?
A. Most items are shipped within 2 days, depending on your location they arrive in less than a week. Occasinally, a product is on back order but that is rare. Like every vendor, we are depending on the factory to keep our stock supplied.
Q: Can items be shipped internationally?
A: No. For now we ship only in North America. We do offer free shipping to all our items.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: It is easy to return a faulty item for return or replacement subject to meeting the terms and conditions of our return policy.
