With this solar lantern add a charming, decorative glow to your driveway, patio, or flowerbeds with these energy-efficient, low-maintenance solar landscape lights. A solar panel collects sunlight for the two rechargeable 'AA' Ni-cd batteries (included and installed) so all you do is stick the lights in the ground and you're done! Each gently luminous white/blue light kit is made of durable weather-resistant plastic for years of use. Light assemblies, stake sections, connectors, and durable ground spikes are included. Automatic on/off sensors turn your lights on at dusk and then off at dawn, creating a romantic atmosphere for any occasion. The independently operating lights have an average run time of 8 to 10 hours (no power cord is needed).

Operating hints: Place your solar lantern where it will receive the most direct sunlight. If the unit is not exposed to enough sunlight during the day, the batteries will not fully charge and the amount of light time at night will be reduced. Try to keep your solar lantern away from trees, bushes, and enclosed porches. Clean the solar panel with a damp cloth regularly; a dirty solar panel will prevent the battery from charging fully. During the winter and on cloudy days, there is not enough sunlight to properly charge the batteries, and the overall burn time at night will be less. A photocell activates the lantern at dusk. If there is a high ambient light nearby, such as a porch light or bright streetlight, the unit will not operate properly. Although the lantern is weatherproof and designed for outdoor use, the manufacturer recommends storing the lantern in a warmer area when the temperature falls below 32 degrees F.
